Uriel Group helps UK insurance brokers investigate potential commission discrepancies, strengthen financial controls, and improve operational processes. Greater accuracy and confidence in your numbers is the result.
Commission discrepancies can go unnoticed when broking system data is not compared against insurer statements. We extract your data, run that comparison, and produce a clear findings report. Where discrepancies exist, you see the picture before anything else starts.
Raising discrepancies with insurers takes time and internal resource that most brokers do not have to spare. Where the diagnostic identifies a case worth pursuing, we build the claim file, submit it on your behalf under a Letter of Authority, and manage it through to resolution.
Without a reconciliation process, leakage resumes as soon as the recovery exercise ends. We design a reconciliation routine built around your team and your system, document it clearly, and either hand it to your team or continue running it on a monthly retainer.
Monthly monitoring and reconciliation report within 10 working days of data arriving. Suited to smaller books with a focused insurer panel.
For brokers with a larger insurer or premium finance count. Same reporting cadence, scaled to match the additional complexity.
High-volume books where reconciliation workload is material. Full insurer and premium finance coverage. Quarterly strategy review.
Retainer fees are scoped to your book size and insurer mix. Contact us to discuss.
Scoped to the size and complexity of your firm. You know the full cost before we start.
We start by building a clear picture of how your business actually operates, not how the procedures say it should. Through structured conversations, document review and observation we identify where processes, controls and reporting fall short of what good looks like.
We work with your team to design and implement practical changes: redesigned processes, clearer controls, better management information and the governance structures needed to keep them in place. Changes are explained and built with your people, not handed down to them.
We follow up to confirm that improvements have taken hold and that your team has the capability to maintain them. Where further support is needed (additional training, procedure updates or governance reviews), we identify it early and address it before it becomes a problem.
Uriel Group is founded by a professional with a background in project management, change management, governance and business transformation. The firm works exclusively with directly authorised UK insurance brokers, applying that operational experience to two areas where the sector has a practical need: investigating potential commission discrepancies and improving the way firms operate day to day.
The commission assurance work is built on structured data analysis and a methodical approach to claim preparation. Where discrepancies are identified between your records and insurer statements, we document them, build the case, and pursue recovery on your behalf where the evidence supports it. The emphasis throughout is on evidence and process, not assumption.
The operational improvement work follows the same discipline: understanding how your business actually functions, identifying where processes, controls and management information fall short, and working with your team to implement practical changes that hold. Improvement that your people understand and can own is improvement that lasts.
Uriel Group is not FCA regulated. Our work is analytical and operational: data extraction, statement reconciliation, discrepancy documentation and claim preparation. We do not provide regulated financial advice and do not act as an insurance intermediary. Brokers retain full control of their insurer relationships throughout.
Founding client places available. A small number of early engagements are being taken on at a reduced rate in exchange for an honest, anonymised case study. Get in touch to find out more.
